DIY 3D Rabbit

Here is a 3 dimensional rabbit made out of white card board without using glue or tape.

Materials Required

As it is made completely made out of card board, it requires only few more.

  • Thick card board
  • Pair of scissors
  • Marker/pencil
  • Paper cutter
  • Centimeter scale

Cut Out the Templates

First select a simple bunny image and print it. Trace it out on card board without ears and tail.

Make two of these.

Next mark equal intervals on the image. (I have taken as 1cm)Make a slit upto the half of the image vertically on every marking. Next measure each marking from top of the image to bottom and cut ovals out of carboard of each measure. (Refer the image for cutting out templates) Make two slits on every single oval at equal intervals.

Making the Structure

Fold the legs of the bunny templetes and place them next to each other leaving a little space between them. Start inserting the ovals in the templates according to their measurement.

Now fix the tail and ears by slitting a little part on the bunny and slipping them into the slit.
