This Tea Light holder takes your candle display to the next level! It makes the tea light look really good, and you can make it in any color to match any interior.

Supplies

You will need:
-A tea light
-A 3D pen
-PLA filament in any color
-Printer paper
-A Sharpie
-Masking tape or 3D pen mat

Trace Your Tea Light

First, you’ll want to trace your tea light. Get out your printer paper and place your tea light on top of it. Trace around the outside of the tea light with the sharpie so that the circle shape is on the printer paper.

Fill in Your Circle

Next, cover your circle with a 3D pen mat or masking tape. Get out your 3D pen and start drawing around the edge of the outline. Begin to fill in the circle, but leave a hole in the middle so you don’t have to use a ton of filament. Aim to have a wide ledge around the edge to hold up your candle. After you have made your ledge, start to build up around the edges to create walls around the candle. Build them up for about 1/4 inch, and feel free to run your finger around the inside to make it stand up straight.

Next, draw a thick leg for your candle holder. Copy that leg about three times, then peel them off the paper or 3D pen mat after they have cooled. Extrude some filament onto the side of the candle holder to act as glue, and press the edge of the leg onto the filament. Repeat with the rest of the legs, and reinforce the connection between the leg and the holder if you wish. Now enjoy your candle holder!
