DIY 30W Bluethoot Speaker
Ever wanted to listen to your favourite song,or just watch a youtube video but your speaker are not powerful enough? In this instructable I will show you how to build this 40W class D bluethoot speaker for under 70$!
The Materials
To build this speaker, you will need:
2x SPX-32M Monacor Altoparlante hi-fi speakers
1x 11cmØ 22cm(lenght) plastic tube
You also need the following tools:
Soldering iron(a station is recomanded)
A hot glue gun
A 3D printer(You can also use a local service to print the parts you need)
Preparing the Body of the Speaker
You will need to make two holes for the speakers. The holes should have equal distances between eachother. The diameter of the holes should be 71mm.There will be a piece on top of the holes for the speakers.
The Wiring
You will need to hook up the speakers and solder wires to the dc jack.
It's 3D Printer Time!
You will need to print the following:
2x front speakers
2x sides
1x amp box
1x electronics box
After it is printed, drill holes for the buttons from the amp(optional) and mount the amp in the electronics box.You also need to glue the passive radiator with hot glue.
You also need to make holes for the wires from the amp to the speakers and two holes(one at the top and the bottom) for the power wires.Hotglue the holes after you inserted the wires.
Glue some sticks to the buttons so that they can reach the panel above the amp.
!!Make sure that everything is sealed and there are no gaps anywhere!!
Gluing Everything Togheter
Glue the front on top of the holes you made, glue the electronics box at the bottom adn the amp box at the tom, lining the holes for the buttons to the buttons with the sticks on top of them.I used some stand offs and glued them in to hold the amp.
!!Make sure when gluing that there are no gaps and everything is sealed well!!Put some hot glue around the speakers metal edge and press it into it's place. After that, screw in some screws to hold the speaker permanently. The hot glue will act kinda like a seal.We want to have the speakers as seald as possible so that tha passive radiators will have effect.
You also need to glue the electronics box at the bottom, place the battery and charger insid eof it and make holes for the charger input.I didn't have a charger and battery at the moment, but when I will get one I will update this instructable.
You Are Done!
I hooked up a dc jack and use the speaker via a power brick and when the batteries will arrive, update the instructabale.Check out my youtube chanel for more awsome projects: Ferferite
