DARKNESS LEVEL INDICATOR
You might have seen many arduino projects in which a light gets turned on when their is dark. But have you ever wondered how much dark should be their to turn on the light.
So now we will learn how to make such a darkness level indicator using arduino in a few simple steps
Collect the Following
1. Arduino UNO R3 : Click here!
2. Jumper wires : Click here!
3. Solderless breadboard: Click here!
4. L.E.D set: click here!
5. LDR or photoresistors: Click here!
6. Jumper wires : Click here!
Place L.E.D.s on the Breadboard
After collecting all the required components. Now, place the L.E.D.s in such a way that all the anode pins( -ve terminals ) are connected together but not the cathode pins as shown in the image.
Connect Jumper Wires
Now after mounting all the L.E.D.s ,connect a jumper wire to cathode pins of all the L.E.D.s. Also, connect a jumper wire where all the anode pins are connected to one another.
Connect L.E.D.s With Arduino
Now, connect the jumper wires with arduino as
L.E.D. 1 -------- PIN 3 of arduino
L.E.D. 2 -------- PIN 4 of arduino
L.E.D. 3 -------- PIN 5 of arduino
L.E.D. 4 -------- PIN 6 of arduino
L.E.D. 5 -------- PIN 7 of arduino
L.E.D. 6 -------- PIN 8 of arduino
L.E.D. 7 -------- PIN 9 of arduino
L.E.D. 8 -------- PIN 10 of arduino
L.E.D. 9 -------- PIN 11 of arduino
all anode pins wire -------- GND of arduino
Connect LDR
Now, connect LDR or photoresistor with arduino to analog pin0 along with resistors.
Upload the Code
Now connect arduino board with Laptop/ PC to upload code to the board
