D5-C is a short-range probe droid about the size of a thermal detonator. It has a droid core that has limited functionality so is not quite intelligent enough to have a conversation but understands basic tasks. D5-C is equipped with nearly the same amount of explosive power as a thermal detonator as well. Its shell can act as shrapnel but also has magnetic attachment points for small tools or weapons like a mini training blaster for projectile deflection training. The two hemispheres of the droid are turned to activate. clockwise to turn on the droid mode or counterclockwise to activate just like a Thermal detonator.

(Glue is required to put together and sanding and drilling maybe as well.)

PARTS: small LED(4x) about 5mm for the two eyes and two for the two camera lenses on the front and back [camera lenses do not need power, but the wires need to be cut and sanded for fitting.

magnets (16x) eight magnets for the shells about 6mm and eight for the spinning functionality with alternating polarity about 5mm

battery's (approx. 4) within the dimensions of the space of 12mm by 12mm by 20mm [LR44 may work.

wire to connect the battery to the magnets on the back hemispheres wire channels.

a bearing much like used in skateboards and a peg cut to length about the size of the inner bearing dimension about 8mm.

PS. much of the parts were from a cheap Tea light candle bought at the store to keep cost down because I'm poor. I hope you like this design, but I must confess I designed it on tinker cad a while back after the last competition, out of inspiration and ported it to my basic personal fusion program that I am not experienced with. I hope you can forgive that.
