Cyclone Upgrade for Hose Bosch
While doing creative work, we often do not always identify the most frequently performed process - yes! this is cleaning after ... And for over a year now I have been using my cyclone for cleaning almost every day, noticing it only when using a rigid corrugated hose, which often turns everything in its path, as they say: "an elephant in a china shop." And recently I bought a hose from Bosch. This company, and not only it, produces a series of compact tools for hobbies, and of course accessories ... One of these accessories is a hose for cleaning dust from a sander. The series of instruments from Bosch are called "YouSeries" and Parkside - "Parkside Me". These tools are almost clones of each other, but they still have small technical differences and especially the price ... You can find a hose in the search engine by typing "YOUseries Dust Extractor", and where to buy in your country ... - I'm sure you'll figure it out ...

Having tried with it, that is, with this hose to work - I bought a second one, as an extension cord. And of course a whole series of fittings followed that would be needed to use it. I don't need everything, but I have developed, taking into account possible combinations, including the inlet fitting of the cyclone itself, in case someone connects the hose directly to the cyclone. In my case, the connection from the wall through a swivel fitting.
I plan to use the old hose as an extension for cleaning the second table, the length of which is 2.2 m, in total it turns out with the first table 1.5 + 2.2 m. The new hose is easily stretched, but look at the video ...
The fittings are made in the form of quick-detachable connections, and as a fixation - a twenty-start thread with a large angle. I sometimes use this method in my work. This allows, in this case, to quickly change the tool / attachment. Anticipating the debate in the comments, I will immediately explain about the reliability of the connection: the hose has a left-hand spiral, the fitting has a right-hand thread, when the hose spring is stretched, the vector of the fitting is screwed on. Thus, the more we stretch the hose, the more the fitting twists.
There is also a model of a TPU print washer, but I do not need it, I did not print, since the joints are both tight enough and hold up remarkably. However, you can check it yourself by taking any spring and trying to stretch it - the axial rotation vector will be opposite to the curl of the spring ... There are also fittings for the old hose, which is also connected to the new one through a quick-detachable connector. And, of course, fittings and adapters for various other tools, such as a grinder, table circular saw, and in the near future I plan to supply a sharpening machine with the same quick-detachable fittings for connecting to a cyclone. And I also want to make a nozzle for cleaning with a brush, I'll show you what happened later ...
