Cute Girl Lamp

Today I´ll show you how to make this cute lamp that will be the perfect decoration for a nursery. You´ll be able to personalize it with a letter or your favourite quote.
It´ll add a dimmed light that will be perfect as an accent in the decoration and useful too.
You can make it as a baby shower gift, and you´ll impress the mom to be.
Gather Your Materials

An oversized embroidery ring
A scrapbook paper or wrapping paper
Glue gun
Scissors
String lights
Gold paint
Gold marker
Brush
Polypropilene plastic that looks like frosted. It´s the same plastic used for the covers of spiral binding.
Cut

Cut the scrapbook paper, mine already has a cute wreath that I cut.
But you can cut a heart, flower, scallops, whatever you want.
Write

Write a letter or a quote with the gold marker.
Trace and Cut

Trace the outline of the ring in the plastic, and cut it out.
Paint and Glue

Before sticking the lights, paint the outer side of the ring with gold paint.
Use the glue gun to glue the string lights all around the ring. Try to space them evenly.
Glue

Glue the plastic on top of the ring, then glue the scrapbook paper.
Hang It Up

The emboridery ring is light and will be easy to hang up.
My string lights are battery operated, I´m using rechargable batteries and the box of batteries is well hidden behind the paper. So you don´t have to worry with weird wires that will ruin your perfect wall.
