Cute Fruit Squishy Using a Cricut

I was looking for a project to do when I saw this fruit template and decided to make it into a squishy toy! This project is very easy to make and doesn’t take up much time! Enjoy!

Supplies

To make this squishy you will need:

1.a Cricut

2.cardstock paper in white, orange, and light orange or yellow

3.plastic wrap

4.a plastic ziploc bag

5.hot glue

6.orbeez

Cutting Part 1

lets start!

Find this item on the Cricut website and edit it to only make one fruit. Start cutting

Cut out the orange pieces on your Cricut

Assembling

You should have these parts cut out. Start assembling by gluing the white pieces on top of the light orange and then gluing the glued pieces to the dark orange.

Fold the long spiked piece and glue it onto one of the pieces you just made. Take the other and cut holes in it. I use the white part to guide me.

Plastic Bag and Wrap

Take your plastic bag and plastic wrap. Glue the plastic wrap into the cut side of the orange and grip the edges. Take your plastic bag and cut the top off. Then cut it in half.

Orbeez

Glue one side of the plastic bag half shut. In the other side put in as many or eyes as you want. Then glue that side shut.

Finishing

Glue the bag into the bottom of the orange. Then glue the cut top on you finished your squishy! Enjoy! 🍊
