Cute Crochet Mice

My first instructable!

These mice would make a cute stocking gift, baby shower present, or pet toy! If you know your crochet stitches, it is fairly simple. If not, Google these terms:

dc- double crochet

sl st- slip stitch

2dctog- Two double crochet together

ch-chain

Supplies

Yarn

Crochet needle

Scissors

Embroidery needle

Crochet the Mouse

Make a magic ring with 7 dc (ch 2, work 7 dc into first chain, sl st)

Ch 2, 2 dc in each stitch around. Join with sl st

Ch 2, 2 dctog around.

Now we can make the ears.

sc 1. dc 3 in next space. sc 2. dc3 in next space. Finish round with sc.

Next, the nose

2dctog around until nose is almost at a point. Be sure to crochet at the bottom of the ear.

Finishing the Mouse

Push stuffing into nose gap.

continue to make 2dctog around until nose can be closed with a sl st.

tie off your string

If needed, sew gaps closed with embroidery needle.

untwist and separate the extra string on the nose to form whiskers.

trim the whiskers

WE ARE DONE!!!
