Cute Blue Unicorn

I thought this would be a fun project that you can make for friends, family, or purely for yourself. And even though a unicorn is usually rainbow I decided to do something different and base it on the color blue. Hope you have fun creating this unicorn and comment if you make it.

Supplies

IMG_5394.jpg

I used four different colors; blue, pink, white, and a multicolored blue. And some supplies you will need for this is your crochet hook, crochet needle, scissors, and something for the eyes (I used the snap in safety eyes).

Some terms to know...

sc- single crochet

slst- slip stitch

inc- increase

dec- decrease

mr- magic ring

()- whatever number in the parenthesis is how much you should have at the end of that step

()* if it is in parenthesis and has a star and then a number the amount after the star is how much times you do that step.

Now let's get this show on the road so we can create such a fun and cute unicorn...

Tail/Mane

IMG_5388.jpg

For this I used my multi colored yarn, and you should do many different lengths.

  • Chain how ever long you want and chain an extra three chains
  • in the fourth chain from hook double crochet 2 and double crochet two in each chain
  • Then when you are at the end do a slst and leave a tail to sew onto body/head.
