This is where you start to get set up. If the title did not already give that away. If you are wishing to protect the labels on your bottle then wrap the bottle with the tin foil around the labels especially. If you do not wish to protect the labels then just peel them off and do not worry about the foil. First, get the string and wrap it around the base of the neck of the bottle, it works better if you wrap it around three times. Now get the acetone and the string. Fill the cap of the acetone bottle with acetone and soak the string in the fluid.

Once you have soaked your string wrap it around the base of the neck of the bottle again and grab your lighter. Be careful on this part. Light the string, I have found that using a lighter that uses gas as fuel creates a stronger flame which will definitely make it easier for the entire string to light. Once the string has lit keep turning the bottle in your hands so that the string burns correctly. Once all the Acetone has burned off, dunk the entire bottle in water, especially the part with the string. You might hear a crunch, and the bottle will separate. You might have to apply a little force to get the two to separate. Don't get discouraged if it doesn't work the first time. Keep trying, it took me a couple of tries.

Once the two pieces of bottle are separate, get the sand paper and sand away the rough edges at the cut. Once you are satisfied with the final product turn the bottle into anything you want, a cup, a candle holder, etc. I hope you have enjoyed this 'ible, if you have anything to say tell me in the comment section. If you have any criticism, then please make it constructive criticism, and tell me how to improve. Thanks, enjoy !!!
