Think about whether you want your label to have words/pictures if you are going to do a large number of jars keep it simple. The jars I got had a lip were a label would go so I copied the shape. The jars I was doing was for a wedding so I put the couples initials and the date, I also intended to do a border but some of the jars do not have the border due to me forgetting.

OPTIONAL-Design and Print

This step is optional, but if you are doing a large number of jars create your design on a computer so you can print it instead of doing 100 or more by hand. Trust me not where the hand cramp.

Cut and Glue

Cut out your labels and glue them using a fine layer of glue to the jars. Smothe the label in place and add another layer of glue to the front of the label. Leave till completely dry.

Gloss/Waterproof

Find a waterproof gloss, waterproofing the label will allow the jar to be washed without worrying about the label falling off. I used a clear boat gloss. Give it a fine even coat, allowing time to dry between. let them dry in a warm place free of dust.
