How to Make a Custom Pet Collar

The video above shows how to make the collar. If you need more explanation the next few steps should clarify any questions.

In both the video and the picture the materials you need are shown. The actual "collar" material used is webbing, you can get it at any climbing store, such as REI, I have even seen webbing at hardware stores. The other materials are shown I just don't know what to call them even though i can guess we've all seen them. I retrieved all these materials off of an old backpack except for the metal ring, that was a lucky find. You can also get these materials at an outdoor or hardware store.

I suggest getting a piece of webbing about double the circumference of your pets neck.
Another thing to consider is having a candle at your side so you can burn the webbing back together after cutting it.
Now, we can begin.

Put the buckle on as seen below.

Next, Put one end of the clip on below the buckle then put the metal ring on.
Once this step is completed re-thread the webbing through the buckle you put on first.

On the other side of the collar, thread the second part of the clip on, as seen below

Pull the webbing through until it reaches the buckle like the first picture below.
Finally, re-thread the webbing through the buckle, and... you're done!
