First, I had to find that perfect stick which will hold the base of this project. I went looking in my backyard and found a good stick to use, in which I then cut down with a knife.

Then, I had to get all those leaves that might blow in your face. They may be pretty, but I’m sure it won't be when it’s all up in your face! While picking the leafs off I cut off some additional wood that might be unnecessary for the final look.

I had to find some sort of string, or handle to hold the ball of ice. In which I did find, in this old lantern. I took off the handles with ease. And went to my desk to put them together.

I put the handle on the stick and taped it together, but then added some glue so it wouldn’t move as much.

I got my ice and wrapped it into one ball. I layered another napkin below the one holding the ice so that I could tape it shut easier.

Finally, I taped the new and improved Ice stick and tapped it to my mini fan, and voila! A beautiful creation to keep me cold during the hot summer. The picture may be inside, but I’m going to take it outside!
