Story behind the build...

So with every great project starts with a problem so for me I built a fancy box and needed some hardware to match. Standard nuts and bolts would have worked but not astatically pleasing to the eye.

So these were made for shotgun cleaning kit. So of course we needed to recycle the shells and incorporate them into the final build.

Aline the nut so it sits just shy of the edge centered as possible let the hot glue come over the top of the nut just slightly this will keep it from falling out

Once the glue has completely dried use a wrench and plyers to remove the bolt this will leave you with a shotgun shell nut to use on projects

Remove Bolt

Use the same technique to put a longer bolt inside the brass fill it with glue and you will have a bolt with a shotgun shell head on it.
