Custom Curtains; Colourful, Cheap, and Easy

The goal of this ible is to show you how to make custom curtains very easily and on the cheap. This little trick will allow you to have almost any colour or pattern for just a few dollars, and it will be fully machine washable and dryer friendly. Perfect for seasonal changes, kid's rooms, or just to have your curtains suit your whims!
Material

What you need for this is quite straightforward.
1. A curtain rod.
2. Clip on curtain holders, this is what makes it easy (you could stitch reinforced holes in the fabric if you really wanted to).
3. And now what makes it cheap and versatile... *drum roll*... Towels. Yup, that's right. Towels fit the length of most windows, and are available in all sorts of crazy seasonal pattern, age appropriate patterns, solid colours, flashy patterns, favourite sports team, and even regional themes (deck out your windows for a national holiday!). All the edging is already done, the fabric takes well to being cleaned, and you can even get then at dollar store if you like changing the look of your room on the a weekly basis!

Assemble

The assembly is quite simple, clip the rings at regular intervals, slip them on the pole, and put the pole up.

That's it. In just a few minutes you can change the whole look of a room.
