Custom Crooked Vase
This is a crooked vase (weights on the left) that can be customized with anyone's initials (or other design).
The "weighted vase" file builds the vase and leaves a hole to be filled with coins, screws, fishing weights--whatever. The "cap" to the weight hole is the "wp" file, for someone whose initials are "W.P."
Design and print files can be found here:

To create your own "initial" file, make a block 38 mm wide, 30 mm high, 40 mm deep and carve out what you don't want. I used the spline curve and extruded excess away with 123d software.
Build at 30% infill--I used supports.
To connect the vase and the initials together, I used an old soldering iron to melt the PLA together. For filler material in the connection, I ran my printer in the "load filament" mode to generate a few inches of thin filament. I used this like solder between the two pieces.
You could use superglue--or acetone if using ABS plastic.
