Custom Cabinet Finish

I had a guest bathroom cabinet that was in need of some updating. I decided to give it a fresh look using acrylic paint and wax.
Sanding

I sanded the cabinet lightly with sand paper and removed the door to begin applying wax.
First Coat

I applied a coat of white wax using a chip brush and let dry.
Next Layer

I added some acrylic paint to clear wax to create a custom color for the next coat.
Next Coat

I added a layer of gun metal wax allowing the other colors to show through. I used a chip brush and applied lightly.
Clear Wax

Finished with a coat of clear wax to protect finish.

Placed cabinet and began adding some personal touches.
