Currant Tea Light

In other projects I've already used current wood to create a knife handle.

In this project I show how to simply create a tea light stand for a stone pane.

Slice the Currant

Currant is a really hard wood so be prepared to use the saw for a quite wile.

I've used a saw for metal, due to the better finish of the surface.

Then use fine sandpaper to finish the surfaces on both sides.

Create the Notch

For the notch I've used my table saw.

To fixate the slice I've crimped it to an old board. But be careful.

Stick It Together

Now the stone slice can be slide into the currant slice.
