Crumbly Walnut Crescents!

This delicious family recipe got passed down generations for a reason ;) These walnut crescents have a delicate sweet taste and crumble in your mouth. You can make approximately 40 crescents from this recipe, and keep them for weeks without getting dry.
Supplies

- 210g butter
- 280g flour
- 70g powdered sugar
- 100g walnuts
- 3 tbs rum
- 2 packs of vanilla sugar
Grate Walnuts

Grate 100g of walnuts
Melt Butter

Warm up 210g butter in microwave until soft
Mix Dry Ingredients

Mix together 280g of flour, 70g powdered sugar, and the grated walnuts (not the vanilla sugar save that for later).
Add Butter and Rum to the Mixture

Mix the butter and rum to the dry ingredients until it becomes a crumbly dough-like texture.
Preheat Oven to 200 Degrees Celsius

Preheat oven to 200 degrees celsius.
Form Crescents

Each crescent should be around 5 cm in diameter. Place them a bit of distance away from each other on the tray.
Put Them in Oven for 15 Min

A good indicator of when to take them out is when the edges start turning golden brown.
Prepare Sugar

While the crescents are baking, mix the sugar to coat them in. Stir vanilla sugar together with powdered sugar in a 1:3 ratio.
Coat Crescents in Sugar

After taking the crescents out of the oven, coat them in sugar while warm.
