Layout of the Crossbow

This is the layout the part in the top part of the photo is the part that gets bent. The lower part is the body that stays still.
Glue Together

The pieces are glued together and a piece of sting is cut that is slightly longer than the bent part of the crossbow.
Failed First Try

The original piece was not strong enough and ended up breaking so I reinforced it in the next part.
Stronger Bent Piece

This piece is made by gluing the string to the ends of the bent piece. Then wrapping string around the ends to help hold it in place.
Finished Crossbow

It is not pretty but it fires the popsicle sticks well. I glued the bent piece to the two popsicle sticks that were sticking up from the first step.
