Crocheted Master Shake
My name is Shake-Zula, the mic rulah, the old schoolah. You want a trip? I'll bring it to ya!
Another great geek-gift! I made Shake with a bunch of yarn I had around...but if your weights are a little different, your gauge won't end up like mine...just add or subtract a few rounds as needed in the same pattern. Let me know if the pattern needs any clarifications or corrections and stay tuned for the rest of the Aqua Teen Hunger Force!
Update: I got bumped! Adult Swim mentioned both this site and this pattern specifically! This is, quite possibly, the most exciting thing ever! Check it out! Thank you to the webmistress at bumpworthy.com for kindly helping me to share my awesomeness with the world :)
Yarn: Vanna's Choice in mustard, Bernat Super Value in white, Caron Simply soft in plum wine, and Vanna's choice in silver blue.
These yarns each create a slightly different gauge, so monitor the size in relation to your main cup as you go.
I used a G or 4.00 mm hook.
THE CUP:
8 sc in magic ring, ss in first sc to join.
Ch 1, 2 sc in each sc around, ss in first sc to join.
Ch 1, (1 sc, 2 sc in next sc), repeat around, ss in first sc to join.
Ch 1, (2 sc, 2 sc in next sc), repeat around, ss in first sc to join.
ch 1, (3 sc, 2 sc in next sc), repeat around, ss in first sc to join.
1 sc in back loop only of each sc around. (Work in the spiral for the rest of the cup)
1 sc in each sc around. Repeat 8 times.
11 sc, 2 sc in next sc, repeat around.
1 sc in each sc around. Repeat 3 times.
12 sc, 2 sc in next sc, repeat.
1 sc in each sc around. Repeat 3 times.
13 sc, 2 sc in next sc, 12 sc, 2 sc in next, 13 sc, 2 in last sc.
1 sc in each sc around, repeat 5 times.
14 sc, 2 sc in next sc, 15 sc, 2 sc in next sc, repeat.
1 sc in each sc around, repeat 3 times. End off and weave in end.
Stuff this piece before sewing on the lid. I put some rice in the bottom for weight, but it's probably not necessary.
THE LID:
8 sc in magic ring, ss in first sc to join.
Ch 1, 2 sc in each sc around, ss in first sc to join.
Ch 1, (1 sc, 2 sc in next sc), repeat around, ss in first sc to join.

Ch 1, (3 sc, 2 sc in next sc), repeat around, ss in first sc to join.
Ch 1, (4 sc, 2 sc in next sc), repeat around, ss in first sc to join.
Ch 1, (5 sc, 2 sc in next sc), repeat around, ss in first sc to join.
Ch 1, (6 sc, 2 sc in next sc), repeat around, ss in first sc to join.
Ch 1, (7 sc, 2 sc in next sc), repeat around, ss in first sc to join.
Ch 1, (8 sc, 2 sc in next sc), repeat around, ss in first sc to join.
Ch 1, (9 sc, 2 sc in next sc), repeat around, ss in first sc to join. End off, leaving a sewing length.
THE STRAW:
6 sc in magic ring (work this part in the spiral)
1 sc in each sc. Repeat 18 times.
I used several pipe cleaners twisted together, then folded in half and re-twisted so that all the pointy bits are facing down, then I put the pipecleaners in the straw. I put the end through the magic ring in the middle of the lid.
THE ARMS: (X2)
Ch 5
1 sc in each st (4 sc total). Repeat 3 times.
Turn these fingers so that you can crochet across the bottom of all four at once. I got about nine stitches across.
Turn and sc in next 3 sc. St2tog, sc in the other stitches.
Turn and repeat. End with sewing length.
Number one in the hood, G.
