Crochet can be a hard task but lucky for you, this is a very beginner friendly tutorial even if you don't know how to crochet.

The Body Step 1

As all crochet projects start, well do a slip knot and if you don't know how to heres a tutorial video

https://youtu.be/w9wEcSD-V3M

And for the foundation, we'll continue with 18 chains, tutorial below

https://youtu.be/7v-mssy5rKU

Once we have 18 chains, we're going to single crochet into the second chain from the hook

Continue to do this until you've reached row 8, or should start looking like this....

The Body Step 2

Increasing our stich:
Now that we're at row 9, we're going to start increasing by one single crochet in every other row until row 22. So we're going to chain one, then we'll do a single stitch twice in the first stitch. Continue to do a normal stich for the rest of the row 9. Remember to only do a double stitch for everyone odd number row up until row 22.

The Body Step 3

After completing row 22 we should have around 24 single stitches as this is the highest point of our mask. Now we'll start to decrease.
And as you can see in the picture above, with the arrow, your mask should have that peak as well.

The Body Step 4

Decreasing: Now we'll start decreasing, so to do that we're going to chain one and we're going to single crochet two stitches together. Below is a link to a tutorial on how to single stich two together (sc2tog)

https://youtu.be/tT9RFXdlWsc

Just like increasing, we only decrease every other row.

(Tip: do not sc2tog every single single stitch, just like increasing, we only sc2tog once)

Do this until we've reached row 35.
After decreasing we're gonna do a single crochet until we've reached row 42.

Earloops Step 1

16144851151388830311675968471088.jpg
So move your mask to another side but don't cut it. Get another ball of yarn or use the other side to make the earloops.

So we're going to make a chain of 27. Be sure to make the slip knot 9 inches long (example picture above) and make sure your chain is at least 6 inches long. Make teo of those since you have two ears.

Earloops Step 2

When you've finished your 27 chains, cut the yarn 9 inches away from the loop. Then draw the yarn out to secure the chain.

Trim Step 1

In the corner where you left off, we're going to chain 1 and we're going to alternate between two stitches, a single crochet (sc) and single crochet two together (sc2tog). We'll be doing this stitch combination at the top to bring theask in more. (Example pictures above)

Trim Step 2

After completing the top part of the mask we're going to add our first earloop. Tutorial below

Finishing Touches

After watching that tutorial, you should be able to finish the mask all by yourself, congrats you did it!

If you'd like to add a piece cloth on the inside, you can for more protection. You could also wear a disposable mask underneath your crochet mask.

I'm sorry, I have no idea why the pictures are upside down😭💀
