Another version of an Instructable I made.

What You'll Need

1. Some yarn

2. Crochet hook (this one is 4.25mm)

3. A rolled holed sock

Beginning...

Start off with a slip-knot on your hook and loop the yarn through the "doughnut hole" of the sock.

Going Around

Go around using the single stitch until you reach the start of your yarn.

You don't have to do too many as you will see in the next step.

The first time I tried this technique I made a lot of strands and it took quite a lot of time and yarn to complete the project.

Double Down

When you reach the beginning of your yarn single stitch one strand as shown in the picture for every single stitch in the initial "Ground Work" you can use two strands doubling the amount of stitches.

Round and Round

Go around single stitching, as you stitch in a spiral keep going till you reach the beginning of the"Double Down" step.

Now the Other Way

Find the base strands and start with another color of yarn single stitch in the opposite direction until completion.

Congratulations you've done it :)
