Crochet Headband - Leanne

IMG-6249.JPG

Introduction:

In this assessment, I am instructed to create my own instruction to allow somebody to be able to be given the equipment and to understand my instructions and complete within an hour.

In this assessment I have decided to write a set of instruction to be able to crochet a headband. This incredibly fun one row repeat crochet headband design is a quick and easy headband pattern that you can make in about an hour. This is the easiest crochet design to do on the go, whether you are a novice or a seasoned crocheter.

Supplies

Chunky yarn (any colour)

5.50mm Crochet Hook

Step 1

Start with a slip knot.

Chain 10.

You may change the size of the Ear Warmer by changing these stitches to suit your needs.

In the second chain from the hook, do a single crochet.

In each of the remaining stitches, make a single crochet.

Turn the first chain.

Step 2:

When the first row is complete,
Back loop single Crochet in each stitch.

Chain 1 and turn once you've reached the end.

The ribbed texture will be achieved using Back loop Single Crochets.

Step 3:

the desired size (until the hour is nearly up).

When happy with the length, cut the string.

Joining:

Fold the headband in half with both ends in line with each other.

Insert the hook into the second chain catching the back chains, yarn over and pull hook through both chains.

Continue this step right across the headband until secure.
