Happy Fall!
I've had this pattern idea in my head for a while and finally got around to making it, and I love how quirky it turned out!

I'd recommend a more intermediate level crocheted to do this due to some things might be a bit more fiddly, but none the less very fun to make.

I think this guy is so unique and quirky which is perfect for halloween and the ruffles at the bottom honestly pull it all together!- I think the ruffles make it look like a ghost! I
I hope you enjoy making him, and as always I'm happy to help if you have any questions!

Materials!

Sewing Together

Bend the snails body around the pumpkin to get an idea of where you'll need to see it, then sew the pumpkin on the lower part of the body, leaving about 1.5 inches for the neck. Then after the pumpkin is secure to the body, bend the neck and sew the pumpkin to it securely.

Sew the witch hat on the top of the head, I made mine a bit slanted. Stuff the hat ( not firmly ) You can always go back and make the top of the hat more crooked.
Sew in all your ends!

Ruffles

You'll be making these around the lower body\stomach of the snail. You will be picking up stitches and adding three double crochets in them to create a ruffle effect. Work around the lower body of the snail.
No worries if it's not perfect, it adds to its quirkiness!

1.) Slip stitch into a sc from the body, chain 2, and dc 2 more in the same stitch. Dc 3 in every stitch, working around the stomach in a circle, till you reach the end, slip stitch

* Pictures will give a good visual reference *

Finishing Touches

Touch up on any shaping you might want in the hat, and sew in any leftover ends.

And there you have it! A cute little Halloween Pumpkin Snail that is a cute little decoration \ toy with a unique appearance.
I hope you enjoyed making this little guy, and if you have any questions I'd be happy to help!
Enjoy you're fall and have a beautiful day!
