Crochet Cat Hacky

This instructable will show you how to make a cute toy which your cat will love. The pattern for the hacky itself is very simple and is a great canvas for practicing adding shapes and symbols to your work. When I made this I added a heart to it. You can add whatever shapes/symbols you want or just make the hacky a solid color.

Supplies:

#4 Yarn of your choice

Dry beans of some kind. I used Pinto

Tools:

4.25mm Crochet hook

Yarn needle

6 Single Crochet in Magic Ring.

Increase in each Stitch.

Increase, 1 Single Crochet.

Increase, 2 Single Crochet.

Increase, 3 Single Crochet.

For the next 6 rounds:

1 Single Crochet in each Stitch.

Decrease, 3 Single Crochet.

Decrease, 2 Single Crochet.

Decrease, 1 Single Crochet.

Now it is time to fill the hacky with beans before you close it off. You want to fill it with enough beans to make it firm. Be sure to tap the hacky on a hard surface while you are filling it so that the beans settle.

Decrease into remaining stitches. Finish off. Use the Yarn needle to sew opening closed.

There you go! you now have a fun toy which you cat will love.
