Crochet Amigruumi Hedgehog

Hi my name is Vivian (Atillas daughter) I am an avid crocheter and wanted to show you how to make this simple crochet amigurumi hedgehog. This is a simple stuffed animal to make for beginners and only requires knowledge of a couple stitches. Such a cute and fun gift or toy. 

5mm crochet hook

tan yarn

brown yarn

black yarn

stuffing or yarn scraps

scissor

yarn needle

safety eyes

stitch marker

Using black yarn make a magic ring - work 5 single crochet (sc) - slip stitch fasten off

single crochet (sc) around using tan yarn

sc 1 increase

sc 2 increase

sc 3 increase

continue increasing until you have reached desired head size.

(around 18 stitch's)

use brown yarn

popcorn stitch, sc around

alternating (popcorn stitch sound be on top of sc and vice versa) - repeat for 5 rounds

add eyes

slightly stuff

begin decreasing (1 dec. 1 sc)

finish stuffing

fasten off
