Crispy and Spicy VEGAN Meat Balls

It is the best substitute for usual meat balls which is famous in south Indian non-veg cuisine. It completely resembles the taste of the usual meat balls which is prepared using chicken or mutton.

You can also make flat shapes so that it can be used as a patty for the burger.

It is a simple recipe that you can easily prepare and enjoy.

Supplies

Soya chunks - 1/2 cup (approx 50 grams)

Potato - 1

shallots - 10-15 nos

Ginger - 1 inch

Garlic - 4 nos

Green chilly - 2 nos

Cloves - 3

Cinnamon - 1 inch

Fennel seeds - 1 Teaspoon

Roasted gram flour - 3 tablespoon

Chilly powder - 1 teaspoon

Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Garam masala - 1 teaspoon

Salt

Curry leaves

Coriander leaves

Oil for frying

Soaking

Image 1: Soak the soya chunks in water for up to 30 mins.

Image 2: After 30 mins drain the excess water from the soya chunks.

Boiling Potato

Boil the potato and mash it.

Blending Ingredients

Image 1: Add the onion, chilly, ginger, garlic, fennel seeds, cinnamon, cloves, coriander leaves and curry leaves in a blender.

Image 2: Blend the ingredients coarsely.

Image 3: Add the soaked soya chunks and blend it.

Mixing the Dough

Image 1: In a mixing bowl add the blended mixture, mashed potato, chilly powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt, and roasted gram flour.

Image 2: Mix all these together and make a soft dough.

Image 3: Make balls from the mixture.

You can use corn flour for extra crispiness.

Image 1: heat the oil and deep the meat balls.

Image 2: once the balls changes into Golden brown color take it out from the oil. Transfer it to a serving plate

Image 3: Transfer it to a serving plate.
