Credit Card IPhone / Ipod Stand

I got tired of carrying around a stand or propping up my iPhone to watch shows so I pulled out a old ID card I had in my wallet and folded it to make a stand. Any hard plastic ID or old Credit card will work and they can be flattened again and slipped back into your wallet when you're done.

This is so simple I'm sure someone has done this before, but the more information we get out there the better.

Get an old used hard plastic card like a old ID or Credit Card (please scratch out any sensitive info) I used an old college ID that i tore the picture off of.

Fold over about 3/4 of the card leaving about 1/4 sticking out

Next fold up the 1/4 that was sticking out from the top fold.

Now you should have a basic stand shape. Set it down on the table!

Now you have a simple iphone stand that you can adjust the angle of viewing by bending the back flap back or forward. Its even strong enough for a old 5g ipod if you play with it a bit.

Hope this saves some people money buying bulky iphone/ipod stands in the future.

When you're done watching your favorite podcast then just flatten it back out and stick it in your wallet.
