Creating the Dragon Scale Bracelet

When I was younger I created lots of jewelry ranging from bracelets to necklaces to rings and to anklets. Even now, as a 13 year old, I still love creating jewelry. When I grow up I wish to own a business of mine own.

My name is Ajinn You, and today I will be showing you how to make this wonderful and colorful scale bracelet. To me, it looks like fish scales. However, I also call it the dragon scale bracelet to make it more majestic and attract more attention to my instructable! 😃 (up above, I added two pictures of my dragon scale bracelet to show you the side and top view of the bracelet).

Hello Guys! Today, we will be creating a dragon scale bracelet.

I will go through step by step on how to create this bracelet! If you have any questions, feel free to leave them in the comments below and I will try my best to answer them.

Get creative! Have Fun! And Smile! 😁

Let's get to it 👍

Supplies

Here are the materials needed for this bracelet!

  1. some rainbow loom rubber bands
  2. tape
  3. rainbow loom clasps
  4. two plastic (or metal, your choice) forks

Here are the links for the materials to amazon and Michaels:

Amazon: rainbow loom rubber bands

Michaels: rainbow loom rubber bands

Amazon: tape

Michaels: tape

Amazon: rainbow loom clasps

For the rainbow loom clasps at Michaels, I could not find them, but I believe that are included in every single rainbow loom set. This also goes for Amazon. However, I embedded a link just for rainbow loom clasps if you would like a separate set.

Make Fork Helper

Hello, the first step is to make this fork helper that will definitely help in making the bracelet. I used two plastic forks, but you can also use metal forks, plastic pens, popsicle sticks, or anything that is straight and stiff!

So first I lay the two forks together on the ground.

I put a piece of tape overlaping of the two forks

I turn it around and tape it on.

Now, I continue to keep adding more layers until it becomes stiff and it does not move when I put rubber bands onto it.

There, now you have your own rainbow loom helper!

Hey guys, now that we finished the pattern of the bracelet, we need to be able to end it so that it can become a bracelet that we can wear.

I insert a youtube video on how to end the bracelet. I also added some pictures while I was finishing the bracelet.
