Creating Clothing and Accessories for Dolls

When I was a little girl, I would meet friends and we would make clothes and accessories for our dolls, we did not use complex techniques and we did not have a rich knowledge of the subject. What we did get are cool clothes and accessories.

Unused cloth/ fabric

Paper/ Sticker paper

Scissors

Pencil

Pen

Scots

Needle

Thread

Create template

Put your doll on the paper,

take the pencil and draw the shape of the cloth you want.

Cut the paper with scissors according to the lines.

Attack the paper template to the fabric,

take a pen and sketch according to the template.

Cut the fabric twice with scissors according to the lines

(you can also cut little line for the belt).

Sew the required cloth.

You need to sew the two parts of the cut fabric.

For parts sew according to the red mark (and sometime also the orange one).

Cut with Scissors little opening and put scotches that will allow the garment to be closed and opened.

Put it on your doll!
