The following information is a single lesson in a larger Tinkercad project. Check out this and more projects on Tinkercad.

Let's build a Fire Fighter's Helmet!

Here we go!

Instructions

  1. The helmet can be made using a half sphere. Scale its height to 12mm.
  2. The visor can be made using a round roof.
  3. Scale the round roof down and align it to the helmet.
  4. The shield can be made from a star. After placing the star, change the inner radius to 0.8 in the inspector.
  5. Position the shield so the flat part faces away and align it to the helmet.
  6. Fire fighter helmets also have a visor in the back. Make a copy of the front visor and mirror it to the back.
  7. The back visor is slightly tilted.
  8. The helmet has reinforcement to make it stronger. A torus can be used for this. In the inspector, make sure the Tube value is 0.5.
  9. Make 3 duplicates of the torus equally spaced.
  10. Group the two objects together again, and change the color to black.
  11. Continue to the next lesson.

Great Work!

That looks great!

Let's keep going!
