Create Your Custom Mobile Cover Design

Not able to find a good looking case for your smartphone? Well that happened to me too. After searching for a month, i finally decided to create my own design and reuse my old smartphone case. With the help of old sticky notes of different colors and some abstract Pinterest references, I created my custom-designed cover. Let me help you to create one too.

Let's Go...

• Sticky notes or colored paper (More colors, better the result)
• Tape or Glue
• Pencil
• Scissors
• Your Creative Brain

Get a reference from the internet for the design you want to create. If you have an idea in mind , draw it on a page . Now decide the arrangement of colors according to availability and the need.

Tip: For old smartphone cases which have turned yellow, it is better to use the yellow and black colors to hide the yellowness.

Now take out your pencil and draw the shapes to be cut, on the arranged coloured paper or sticky notes, according to your design. Try making variations in the shapes, to make it look better

After drawing the shapes, now it is time to cut them out . Now carefully grab the scissors and cut smoothly through your markings, one by one.

Now is the time to arrange all the shapes according to your design and glue them together. Try not to stack , more than three layers on top of each other, as it will increase the thickness and may cause trouble with the cover fittings.

Follow your intuition with the placement of the shapes, and finally, your new phone back cover is ready. Give some final touches, like rounding the corners
