Creamy Beef Crockpot Stroganoff
This is an easy and cheap recipe for beef stroganoff that smells so good while cooking you will constantly be checking the pot. In my case also taste testing. You gotta make sure it's safe for others to eat right;) That's my excuse!
Ingredients
You will need:
2 pounds of cubed stew meat, or left over roast, or even chunk up a small roast you have on hand
2 cans Condensed Golden Mushroom Soup
1 largish onion diced
2-3-4 tabls of Worcestershire
1/2 water
8 oz of cream cheese
leave it and let it cook on low for 8 hours

1 largish onion diced

8 oz of cream cheese

Step One
In your crockpot add all the ingredients except the meat and cream cheese and stir it up.
Step 2
Next add your meat and stir it up again. I used a small 3 pound brisket roast I had in the freezer and just chunked it up. The second pic here shows what it looks like after 4 hours of cooking. You will be setting the cream cheese aside until right before it is done. Just before serving cube up your cream cheese and toss in the pot. Stir it around til all melted, you may have to put the lid back on and let it set about 10 minutes. It is now done, serve it over egg noodles, mashed potatoes, on bread, really the options are endless. Enjoy!
