cook to 350 farenheit/ celcius until cooked

tip

poke with a toothpick if it comes out clean its cooked

science

the amount of baking powder and soda might be small but they help raise the cake as they are both chemical leavening agents that cause batters to rise when baked. The leavener enlarges the bubbles which are already present in the which forces the cake to rise. But baking powder does most of the leavening. Baking soda does some of the leavening but it also adds tenderness to the cake.

warning/tip

Too much baking powder can cause the batter to be bitter tasting. It can also cause the batter to riserapidly and then collapse. (i.e. The air bubbles in the batter grow too large and break causing the batter to fall.)

Cream

add in a bowl mascarpone sugar and double cream

mix for about 3 minutes or until it turns to cream and becomes stiff peaks

Finish
