This unusual salsa is always a crowd-pleaser!

It is quick and easy to make, and the perfect snack to throw together at the last minute when you have people coming over.

Friends are always asking me for the recipe, so here it is!

Ingredients

For this salsa you'll need:

  • 4 cups of cranberries (you can use frozen cranberries, but when they are in season, fresh wild cranberries are even better!)
  • bundle of green onions, chopped
  • bunch of fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 red fresno peppers or jalapeños, chopped
  • juice from 1 lime
  • ¼ cup of sugar
  • salt to taste

Mix It Up

Chop up the green onions, peppers and cilantro (save your onion ends to grow new onions!).

Toss all the ingredients in a food processor and blend it until you get a nice salsa consistency.

Enjoy!

Serve this salsa with corn chips for a yummy gluten-free party snack.
