Cozy Baby Booties

It takes about an hour to make these adorable baby booties

Abbreviation

double crochet (dc)

half double crochet (hdc)

single crochet (sc)

You will need light pink and mint green yarn (I used red heart super saver)

4.0mm crochet hook

Yarn needle to tuck in ends

• start with light pink
• Make a slip knot and chain 9

• Round 1, 3dc into the 3rd chain from hook, 5 dc, 6 dc into the next st, 5 dc, 3 dc into the next st
• Round 2, ch 1, 2 sc in the next 2 sts,4 sc, 1 hdc,2 hdc in the next 8 sts,1 hdc, 4 sc, 2 sc in the next 2 sts and slip stitch
• Round 3, ch 1, 34 hdc in the back loop only and slip stitch
• Round 4, ch 1, 10 hdc,7 dc dec, 10 hdc, slip st
• Round 5, ch 1, 8 sc, 1 hdc dec, 1 hdc repeat 3 times, 1 hdc dec, 8 sc, slip stitch
• Round 6, ch 1, 9 sc, 1 sc dec, 1 sc, 1 sc dec, 9 sc slip stitch
• switch to mint green
• Round 7, ch 2, 1 dc in each st slip stitch
• Round 8-9, ch 2, 1 fpdc, 1 bpdc repeat then slip stitch
