Counter Extender 2.0

I created a counter extender, which adds extra space for cutting boards and containers. I created this for that extra room needed for cooking.
Supplies

Materials
For the materials, I used an Ultimaker 2+ 3D printer, Tinkercad, and a ruler.
Concept

First, I came up with what the model would look like. I decided on a simple design that can be upgraded. I wanted a simple grabbing system and needed a strong surface. I then measured a counter and started creating the model.
Prototype Modelling

Next, I turned my concept into a three-dimensional design. The design was then imported into the printing software. I used it to get all the print settings ready for the third-dimensional print.
3D Printing: the Prototype

Also, I sent it to print. It took one and a half days to finish and was printed in blue. Since the idea worked, I decided to create an upgraded design. I decided to round corners and widen the gap.
Final Modeling

Fourth of all, I took the prototype and updated it. Making the space bigger so that it can fit more. I then rounded out the corners. I also made the space where the counter would go wider. I then used the settings from step two and started printing.
3D Printing: the Upgrade

Finally, I printed the new design, which took two days. After testing, I found that the width was too much. I'll be creating a new design soon.
