Council House Wall Fixtures

Hi there Everyone!

This is my first post in a fairly long time and I wanted to start by adding small instructables about the things I learnt about DIY around my ex housing association house.

This is one I feel I could of used a long time ago.......................

During my window to patio door conversion I had to take out the wall under the old window, which is another instructable for later, and to my shock I made a discovery that there are no breeze blocks just hollow clay blocks that you can see in the picture above.

So all the attempts to use large strong fixings for solid masonry walls and the fails that followed.

Hollow wall fixings all the way on every wall now by the look of things.

I really hope this helps everyone else having the same problems.
