Is you battery life not what is used to be? Well luckily I have the solution. These are awesome headsets but after a couple years battery life tanks.
This guide will allow you to place a new battery in your headset with a larger capacity with only a few modifications needed. This entire modification costs less then 10 dollars!
Please do this at your own risk. I am not liable for any damages.
Supplies
1.Replacement Battery: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07K1J433J/ref=cm_sw_r_c...
2. Thin double sticky tape.
3. Philips screw driver.
Remove Ear Pads
Gently and slowly remove cloth ear cup from the RIGHT side of the headset. It will easily separate just be very patient. Look at the photo for reference.
Side note if they are dirty you can do it to both sides and give them a quick wash and dry :)
Remove the 7 Philips Screws
Remove the 7 screws and carefully separate the piece from the headset. There are wires connecting them together so do not pull or tug.
Remove Three Screws and Disconnect the Connector.
Remove the three screws holding the battery and disconnect the battery by gently tugging.
Double Sticky Tape
Place a strip of double sticky tape on the side of the NEW battery with the label on it.
Place Battery
1. There is a square piece of clear plastic where the old battery sat. Discard it.
2. Place the battery sticky side of tape down and orient it the way shown in the photo.
3. If you orient it the way shown it will not wiggle out or move.
4. Reconnect the battery to the headset.
Put 7 Screws Back in Place
Be careful of the wires as you put the plastic piece back on the headset and screw it down.
You Are Done!
