Cool Light Show With Dry Ice and Magnesium!

Cool cumbustion project thats a lot of fun!

-Two blocks of dry ice
-coiled magnesium
-temprature protectant gloves
-blow torch
-goggles
-scissors 
-fire extinguisher 
-Temprature mat

put on your goggles, gloves and other protective clothing. Make sure that you have a fie extinguisher at arms reach.

place one block of dry ice down on your temprature mat, making sure that you dont let it touch your skin

making sure that your blow torch is close by, cut your coiled magnesium into small parts. there has to be enough to ignite. that would be enough to hold in the palm of your hand with the gloves on. If it touches your skin, Make sure to wash it with soap and water for at least 30 seconds as it has a tendency to irritate skin.

this is an important step. once you place the magnesium on the dry ice, you need to torch it right away. when it apears to be catching fire, place the next slab of dry ice on top. 

But make sure you remember to step back!
