First find some wild onions. They grow in fields and you have to dig them up to reach the part to you eat. They have a very distinct smell, like onions so the shouldn't be easy to mitake.

Collect Wood
Collect some wood and build a fire to cook the onions.
Stick the Onions in the Coals
Take the onion itself and stick it into the coals to let it cook. Wait until they are almost black ad pull them out by the green part which acts as a handle.
Eat the Onion
Peel off the black outer later and then chow down!
