We’re getting very close to a delicious finish line. It’s time to cook, sauce, and serve your first fresh homemade pasta!
What You'll Learn in This Video Lesson:
- How to properly cook fresh pasta.
- The best way to add sauce to pasta.
- How to dress up your finished servings.
Key Points to Remember:
- Add 4 cups of water to the pot for every 100g of pasta to be cooked.
- Salt the water just as it comes to a boil.
- Once pasta is added, cover pot with lid to return water to boiling as quickly as possible.
- Add 1/4 cup of pasta water to the Creamy Pesto Sauce before mixing it with the noodles.
- Be gentle with the noodles so they don't break or mush as you mix them into the sauce.
- Good quality parmesan makes everything better!!
