First let's turn out stovetop burner onto medium heat, then give a spray with some kitchen spray, or use some oil, or butter. Next take your mason jar lid ring (band), and spray the inside of it with kitchen spray. You can place it down either way. The first way, the egg tends to come out a little easier, but you need to hold it down with the egg in it for a few seconds. The other way you don't need to hold it at all, but the egg sometimes sticks a little bit while coming out.

Cook That Egg

Now crack an egg and drop it in the ring. Simple as that. Then you can also cover it with a lid if you like. Although that step is not necessary.

Season and Flip

Next we season the egg with salt and pepper (optional). Then using your tongs and a rubber spatula, flip it over for a nice over easy egg. Then after about 20 seconds use your tongs and lift off the ring. It may stick a little bit, so you might want to push around the edges of it to help it release, before lifting it up. Then you have a nice round egg left! It is ready to eat.
