Converting a Digital Foot Scale to Rechargeable Battery.

My scale at home uses two lithium button cells. I got fed up spending money on replacing them. I decided that a lithium 9volt rechargeable was the way to go. The 7.2 volts from this battery is close to the 6 volts from the button cells.
Solder 9 Volt Battery Clip

Soldering of the 9volt clip into the battery compartment is easy. Just use a multimeter to rule out the series connector.
Fold the leads into the battery compartment and reapply the cover.
Fold the leads into the battery compartment and reapply the cover.
Use Velcro Strips on the Battery and Scale.

These adhesive strips allow easy removal of the battery for recharging.
All Done!

Now the scale has a reusable battery! Cost savings and great for the environment.
