I always liked having something classic but also having all the modern functions.

It was time for the radio in my Chevrolet 400. It takes time to get it right and it is not necessary to have a great knowledge of electronics, only if you can follow a circuit or draw a pcb will it be easier for you.

Step 1: Disassemble

Completely Disassemble old radio. Just leave the keypad

The acrylic on the front was a little yellow, so I had a new one made with a laser.

Step 2: Print the Parts and Fabricate the Pcb

I couldn't think of something better but maybe you can improve it

Step 3: Cutting the Front

You must be very careful where you cut because the front may no longer work. You should not cut any tracks that are driven by the display. The rest does not matter

Step 4: Wiring and Finish
