Consolidate Your USB Chargers

I always seem to have extra USB chargers lying around, and cluttering my outlets. I got to the point where I was tired of dealing with them all, so I decided to combine them into a single super-charger.

Tools:

Solder Gun/Solder

Wire Strippers

Electrical Tape

Materials:

USB Charging Cables

Trim the Cabled

Snip the USB part off of each charger, but make sure to leave one USB part with enough cable to strip.

Strip the Wires

Strip the cables and each of the wires within them.

Solder the Wires

Wrap the exposed parts off the same colored wires together, and solder them together. You only have to do this for the power and ground wires, but I did it with all of them because I felt like it.

Tape Up the Wires

Tape up each soldered part. Then tape all of the bundles together.
