Concrete Lamp (5)

Hi! This time a little sweet concrete lamp instructable.

First of all find a good quality small food storage box. Use a soldering iron to make a approx. 30mm hole on the top and a 14mm hole on the side for the cord. (I use Lego bricks to find the center.)

Connect lamp cord (with plug and switch pre-installed) to an E27 socket. Use a chair protective pad to protect cord from bending.

Apply super glue or rubber adhesive before assembling socket

Insulate holes with rubber adhesive and secure socket on the mold with a bulb and a socket collar.

FIll it with concrete and give it 24h to dry.

Cut with a soldering iron and remove mold.

Water sand the bottom part with 100 or 150 grit sandpaper. You can also fine sand the body if you like with 600 grit sandpaper.

Attach protective rubber pads.

Ready. Install a bulb you like.
