Commuter Bookmark
Hello,
My dear friend is a voracious reader. She goes through paperbacks the way that I go through cardstock: with surgical precision and speed. She promised to pass her recently-completed books to me, but I found myself woefully unprepared to keep track of my place. I used a dollar bill at first, and that led me to believe, for a while, that the local hobos had a burgeoning interest in literature. Turns out, that was not the case. Then I began to use a tissue, but a bout with hay fever made me lose my bookmark and my spot in the text.
Here is my solution for the 9-5 commuter: a commuter bookmark! To make it:
1) I opened up MS Paint
2) I drew my ideal bus/train seat partner
3) I printed to cardstock
4) Using my good scissors, I carefully trimmed around his outline
5) I inserted him betwixt my pages
Sincerely,
Miss Paint
